EP018 The Slippery Slope Fallacy (#5)

We’re continuing our examination of common logical fallacies. As a reminder, logical fallacies are errors in our reasoning process. Where we fail to address the actual argument, but rather appeal to our emotions, appeal to cultural popularity, or worse attack the person instead of the claim being debated.

As Christians, our commitment must be to truth—not to gut feelings or emotionally driven arguments. Learning to recognize logical fallacies equips us to handle Scripture more faithfully and engage others more thoughtfully. After all, our aim should always be the honest pursuit of truth.
